The Right Kind of Love (Loving A Morrison) – #MSSWeek22 #MySexySaturday

Welcome to Week 22 of My Sexy Saturday Blog Hop.

Today, I want to share with you another sexy excerpt from my second IR romance, which is scheduled for release in a few weeks. Click here if you want to read a sexy excerpt I’d shared a few weeks ago.

The 7 sexy paragraphs below, demonstrate the sizzling chemistry between Blake and Sloane. They’re about to share a kiss, but let’s see what actually happens.

My Sexy Excerpt:

“Why don’t you admit it, Sloane? You want this as much as I do.”
“Want what? A date?”
“No babe, you want this.” He came close, as close as the driver’s seat would allow him and invaded her personal space. Blocked out the oxygen, so she found herself struggling to breathe. She was still able to smell his aftershave, his soap, his scent. He lowered his head and she envisioned how his lips would feel on hers. Something she had yearned to feel again since that night, even when she struggled to figure out why she felt so alive, so charged up whenever she was around Blake. Something she wanted to feel right now. She wanted to him to kiss her, to take her breath away. A first kiss after a long period of abstaining from him. She closed her eyes slowly, anticipating the touch of his lips to hers.
The knock on the glass rocked her back from the bliss she felt. She heard Blake’s muttered curse as he used the automatic control to wind down his window.
The sight of the police officer surprised her. She squinted as the glare of the torchlight danced across the sedan.
“Is everything alright, here?” The officer shone the light at Blake then at her.
“Everything’s okay, Wallace.”

In case you’re interested, here’s the blurb:

New Yorker Sloane Saunders has just about given up on love. She’s thirty-something and very single. A magazine article jolts her from her malaise and motivates her to do something she’s never tried before: online dating, and firstmeet.com is the website of choice.

Attending his brother’s bachelor party was the wake-up call Blake Morrison needed. Memories of a passionate relationship from his past drive him to return to claim his woman. Sloane. Despite the sizzling chemistry between them, it’s not as easy as he thought. With a family crisis and Sloane’s preconceived notions about love and relationships getting in the way, can Blake convince Sloane they have the right kind of love and that a love like theirs can last?

Oops, hate when that happens. Very reminiscent of our turbulent teenaged years. Love the tension between Sloan and Blake.
