4 Fantastic Reasons to Sign Up for National Novel Writing Month

Creative Writing with the Crimson League

Generic-180x180National Novel Writing Month hits us every November, and it is a wonderful opportunity for seasoned and new writers alike to pen a first draft of a new novel.

Writing a novel (or 50,000 words of one that’s longer) in 30 days is no easy task, and it’s not for everyone. Earlier this week, I gave some good reasons you might want to opt out of NaNoWriMo, while promising a post outlining some great reasons to throw your hand in the game.

I’m not participating this year, but hundreds of thousands of writers will be. If you want to join them, you can sign up for free and learn more about the program at www.nanowrimo.org.

Here are some great reasons that NaNoWriMo might be for you, whether you’re returning for a five or sixth year or have never even heard of the program until now.
